Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair Removal in Wappingers Falls
Permanent hair reduction means a lasting decrease in the hair that grows back, not the end of hair forever. Your skin and hair are assessed in person before anything is booked.

What It Does
Hair Reduction, Not Hair Removal
The accurate term for this treatment is permanent hair reduction. It means a lasting decrease in the number of hairs that grow back in the area treated. It does not mean every hair is gone forever, and any clinic telling you otherwise is overselling it.
We would rather you booked knowing that. Most people who are happy with laser hair reduction are happy because they were told the truth about it first.
How It Works
Working With the Growth Cycle
The reason treatment is spread out has nothing to do with selling you more appointments. It is how hair grows.
Hair grows in phases
Every hair on your body is at a different point in its own cycle. Some are actively growing, some are resting, and some are on their way out. They are not in step with each other.
The laser works on actively growing hair
Laser hair reduction relies on the pigment in the hair to carry energy down to the follicle, and that only works while the hair is in its growing phase and still attached.
Which is why it is a series
Because only some of your hair is in the right phase on any given day, treatment is spaced out over a course of appointments rather than done in one sitting. Your provider will tell you what that looks like for the area you are treating.
The Equipment
We Treat With the Lutronic Clarity II
If you have been researching laser hair removal you have probably noticed that clinics are vague about what they actually own. We are not. Treatment here is carried out on a Lutronic Clarity II.
The part that matters to you is that it is a dual wavelength platform. It delivers at 755 nm and at 1064 nm, which means your provider is choosing between two different depths and behaviours of light rather than applying the one setting a single wavelength machine would allow.
That is why the assessment in the next section is a real assessment rather than a formality. Having two wavelengths available is only useful if somebody is deciding which to use, and on what settings, for the person in front of them.
Why We Assess First
Your Skin and Hair Come First
Laser hair reduction is not one setting applied to everybody. Because the treatment works through the pigment in the hair, the relationship between your hair and your skin changes what is appropriate, and so does anything that affects how your skin currently behaves.
That assessment happens in person, before anything is booked. We are not going to tell you online whether you are a candidate, because the honest answer is that it depends on looking at you.
Your First Appointment
What Happens When You Come In
You talk through which area you want treated and what has or has not worked before
Your provider looks at your skin and your hair, because the two together decide what settings are appropriate
You go over your medical history, medications, and anything that affects how your skin reacts
Your provider explains whether treatment is suitable for you, and what they would recommend
If you go ahead, you are told how to prepare and how to look after the area afterwards

Before You Book
These are medical aesthetic treatments, so we start with a consultation rather than a booking. A licensed provider reviews your history and what you want to change, confirms whether a treatment is appropriate for you, and plans it around your skin. If something is not a good fit, we will tell you.
A consultation is required before any treatment is planned
Every treatment is performed by a licensed provider
Suitability depends on your history, your skin, and your goals
Individual results vary, and no outcome is guaranteed
