What It Is
A Facial Done In Stages
Hydrafacial is not one wash and a moisturizer. The skin is cleansed and loosened first, then debris is drawn away from the surface, then a hydrating serum goes on. Those stages happen in one appointment, in order.
The part that makes it different from a facial done by hand is that it works with fluid. Liquid is delivered onto the skin and drawn back in the same pass, so the loosening and the lifting away happen together rather than being scrubbed.
It is a surface treatment, and that is worth knowing before you book. If what is bothering you sits deeper than the surface of the skin, a facial is not going to reach it. Your provider will tell you that rather than take the booking and hope you are pleased.

A diamond tip resurfaces the outermost layer of the skin mechanically, and a serum is infused as it passes.
